Well Bowyer told Koko in the last transfer deadline that he would have to strengthen in January, he wasn't wrong.

What's one of these?

Whatever happens Gary B will be very happy.

Koko burst out laughing, he wasn't wrong.

If nothing else, it will be a good indicator on whether Bowyer has anything to play with or not.

I predict that we will bring in one or two loan players but will also lose Longstaff.

Why would you want them to spend anything? I'd say if they spend money then it's less likely they're leaving.

I’d agree.

I think the O’s will adopt a NAPM stance.

Ha Ha, how ironic.

Strengthening the playing squad will be the last thing on their minds, irrelevant of their plans to sell.

LMAO money for the squad.... No chance. Expect Owen to invest heavily in the Cayman isles.

The only ones to come in will be the bailiffs.

Manager Gary Bowyer said:

“I’m delighted that we’ve been able to get the deal done, and I’d like to thank Newcastle for allowing Sean to continue his development with us. He’s benefitting from playing week in, week out and he’s got six goals, which is an incredible return for someone of his age.

“He’s still growing and if you’d have took a picture of him when he first arrived to a picture of him now, you’d see the development in his body as well. When he does finally grow into his body and gets the power there, he is going to be some player.”

Sean Longstaff added:

“I’ve enjoyed my time here so far, I’ve played or been a part of pretty much every game apart from two, I think. It’s been perfect for me, I’ve settled in really well, all the lads are great and all the staff have been great with me.

“I’m happy to get it over the line and I’m looking forward to the second half of the season.”

Mustn't have approved of Scunny's recent appointment...

Blackpool thought to be interested in another Newcastle youngster - 22-year-old right-back Jamie Sterry.
