BFC FANS ( legends of the terraces )
I am keen to hear of fans who were legends from various years. Early in the 70s I remember at Turf Moor 4 coppers taking a guy called Pete Evans out of the Long Side on all fours.

Other Legends I recall.
Benny from Grange Park.
Cads.
Tommy Throup.
Mark Spedding.

One of that list is a regular poster on here.

I remember a guy a couple of years older than me, late seventies, Carlisle away. Pitch invasion from both ends meeting at the centre spot and having a huge battle with Pool being massively outnumbered. This guy called Martin _____ (looked like David Essex, tats under his nipples 'bitter & mild') he was wearing a sheepskin and no shirt..anyway, he must have taken out a dozen or so Carlisle fans before everyone retreated. Probably the best single incident of 'we deny defeat' I have ever seen.

I don't really like these threads because they tend to make violence sound cool, but here I am posting on one.

Now that guy is a legend, Seasick Steve I call him. Seen him knocking around for years. He always watches the results come in at the end of the game on the tvs under the terrace. If you wanna know how many goals Fraser Mclaren has scored in his last 5 away games for Berwick United, ask him.
