Haha.

I'll allow Football Manager just as the series but people just saying Final Fantasy need to differentiate - which one?

Metal Gear Solid 3 pushes the 1st one close on my list because the Cold War is one of my favourite periods of history and it is set against the backdrop of it. Have to go with the original in the end though.

I think Fallout 3 and NV are interchangeable to a large degree as well as they're essentially the same game, the Mojave Wasteland is probably a better setting though.

I enjoyed both but finished neither. I reached the last mission in Fallout 3 and decided to go off and do more side quests as I didn't want it to end. My PS3 died shortly afterwards and I couldn't face restarting. I got stuck halfway through New Vegas and gave up after dying for the 100th time.

Fallout 4 is the first game I've preorded since Half Life2. I'm determined to finish this one.

You can carry on playing Fallout 3 after the main quest finishes! Unless that was just the game of the year edition I had with expansion packs.

Ports of call was a top game on the Amiga as was sensible soccer and cannon fodder
Then moved onto command and conquer on the Playstation - loved them
Goldeneye on the N64
Have had most of the FIFA games as well as football manager

Only recently got back into gaming as I bought my son an xbox360 and started missing playing myself so bought a PS4 and have fell back in love with Metal Gear Solid - have download MGS5 Prologue - ground zeroes and now I can't wait for MGS The Phantom Pain in September - I'm a renewed gamer Smile

Haven't done Ground Zeroes yet. I've been waiting to play it the week Phantom Pain comes out so I can play them back to back. I didn't have a PS3 so the last MGS game I played came out 11 years ago, I wouldn't have been able to jump back in for a few hours of GZ then have to wait another year.

I'm a little sceptical about them though, I don't really think these new games are the same MGS I loved as a kid.

On a thread where we're all talking about our favourite video games, I don't think you can make fun of someone for liking video games.

It's reyt mate. The n00b comment was just me being my usual hilarious ironical self.

I'm aware that Pubclown isn't exactly the sharpest pencil in the box, so I'll forgive him.

Got me thinking back to the Amiga days now.

Flashback
Eye of the beholder
Worms
Superfrog (!)
Frontier Elite I I
Railroad Tycoon

There was a game I used to always play as well, you woke up in a cell and could see a guard in the next room and you had to set fire to the cell to get the guard to run in then link him in there - anyone remember the name?
