Be nice if I could do the same sort of shot but use the world famous Blackpool Tower instead of cacti as a silhouette

It's been done with the tower! Quite a few have done it.

RE: Supermoon
It's nice but the framing is a little out plus slightly short exposure.

RE: Supermoon
short exposure because it was too hazy Smile wanted to remove the clouds Smile and the framing is reversed to what it should be, a photo should be framed left to right, so i decided not to frame left to right (our eyes read left to right) Biggrin plus the vignetting arou8nd the edtges was ghastly Smile but im not set up properly for astro just yet Smile soon tho. ive broken my three legged thing. my dad has partially fixed it though. but it no longer stays in one place. but at least its working again. Smile

lighter = more clouds

clouds = evil incarnate.

really need to stack with it in Rot n Stack. Sad-smiley

i toyed with removing the haze, from the photo like i did the clouds, but then i thought i couldnt be arsed. save it till i buy an aqstrophotography kit.

exp 1/320
iso 200.
sf stop 4.8

the moon is bright so you dont need a long exposure, the moon is also not white as people thing its brown and grey

RE: Supermoon
I was making it up, but nice one.

The only thing that I could legitimately tell you about that photograph is that it's of the moon.
