Brad Potts to Preston
Bit of a rumour going around amongst our fans and on a couple of our forums that we're targeting Brad Potts.

D'you think this is a feasible link and could you see Oyston selling him to us?

Why would he move to a smaller club?

He was shite in League One, found his level in the basement so would imagine he'd be dogwank in the Championship. Take him. We don't give a shit anymore. All hope has gone

If you like a player who stops playing to adjust his hairband well go ahead and sign him.As you can see with earlier posts we are not bothered, but we will have Nobber on soon saying we are all"glory hunters" . The SCUM will sell anything at present to pay their quickly rising legal costs.

I think a footballer's talent is inversely proportional to the number of times he checks his hair is OK during a game.

I hope he stays, I think if we build on last seasons team itd give a bit of stability instead of the constant rotating door we've had over the last few seasons.
Wouldn't read anything too much into this rumour myself though.

In all seriousness, would be a massive blow to lose him. Seems to be playing well under Bowyer.

Potts needs someone around him to do his donkey work for him. For a lad with a decent frame & physical appearance he doesn't half appear to shirk out of tackles etc ......
Wasnt that good in League 1 playing in Muggy's 442 but by all accounts better in League 2 playing in a 433.....

Apparently Ipswich were willing to pay around £500k in January - Carlisle have a significant sell on clause I've also heard.

Imagine Oyston's will sell now or in January rather than lose him for nowt next summer?

To be fair we always had rotating door policy going way back into 1970s. Two small town clubs trying to make ends meet. Difference is we had 31 million pounds premiership money that could have been invested in team strengthening 11 million of which was trousered by OO.

Given the owners ambition and his lifelong super fan status I can assert quite categorically that he will be sold.

I don't envy your ownership situation that's for sure.

Our owner does try to progress us which us good, but once again the bloody local council won't - http://www.lep.co.uk/news/pne-training-g...-1-8598145

No doubt they'd be the first basking in the glory if we ever make the Prem.
