Greenspan has already come out to say that he said no such thing.

A lot of the rest of the wild speculation and supposed future turmoil is BECAUSE of Brexit, not a reason for it to have happened.

Where's your Blitz spirit?

When we leave, we'll have British jobs in menial labour for British workers.

And lashings of ginger beer!

On the plus side, once the O's have fucked off my return visit to Bloomfield Road will be cheap as chips because I assume the UK will be happy to take actual monopoly money and bottle caps as currency by then.

How about what they want to sell to us?

Do you remember when we used to go on a ferry to buy cheap booze and had to put stickers on our car headlamps to drive in France?

Thanks to Brexit, we'll finally go back to those halcyon days...

Because we are currently holding back on buying American?

Or do you have some incredible trade bait and switch idea where that will help out with our exports?

I'm sorry, how is what you are saying a solution?

You're saying importing more stuff from China, USA etc... is somehow going to solve an export problem because we are buying it cheaper?

How is buying more cheap stuff going to solve the problem that no one needs to buy ours?

I think what Nobber is trying to get at is that the Yanks would rather pay a bit extra and buy a Range Rover from us instead of aTatamobile from China.
I know Tata is from India but you get the gist.
