They haven't done too bad really. You can tell they are lacking quality but organised.

Hoddle really is the most optimistic commentator ever.

A few good debuts! Thought Trippier was good and a better footballer than Kyle Walker. Pickford was excellent too.

The defence were to open in the first half if had to say one negative. Germany could easily have scored a couple.

A couple of those lads that made debuts last night will definitely be going to the World Cup.
It was nice to see a English side pass the ball forward, instead of Henderson hoofing it back 30 yards every 20 seconds!

I would even consider Trippier over Walker. I don't think Southgate would pick that team as he will want some experience. He would probably play Dier instead of LC. Dier is ok though, prefer him to Henderson but definitely not both.
