Jail or no Jail?
A 90-year-old driver who killed a couple when he accidentally reversed his car into them should not be sent to jail, a judge has been urged

Seems like an accident and it wasn't like he driving like a lunatic so "dangerous driving" seems a bit harsh. Just a mistake by an oldie!

However it raises questions as yo whether they should be on the road. I'm not ageist but being on the road constantly I see it all the time from oldies. Not looking, cutting you up totally oblivious etc.

I think driving licenses should be revoked at 60.

Will you be saying that when you are 60?
I,d go for 70/75 and tests every 3/5 years after that

When I'm 60 we'll travel in tubes made of light.

You won’t make 60. You’re already ageing badly.

Ha! I'm not saying it's all oldies. There are plenty of young idiots too. But this case was an error by an older person, perhaps due to lessened reflexes. And my.examples have been older people say pulling out into on traffic with out even realising again due to poor reaction times etc. Age itself is irrelevant however I think after a certain age there.should be an annual assessment. It's not their fault l. Just old age declines the skills needed for safe driving.
