Not at all. You just threw out an unecessary and incorrect insult and got called on it.

It wasn’t a insult it was a observation. You said you was tricking yourself into thinking you was drinking alcohol and that is the exact same thing methadone does to a heroin addict.
You in fact threw the first insult.

So people vaping low or no nicotine is like them being a heroin addict is it?

Calling you a dickhead isn’t an insult if you talk like a dickhead. It’s an observation.

You’re obviously still early on in your recovery so I get that youre touchy about it. Personally I think it’s great that the Alcohol industry have produced a middle platform for people like yourself.
Recovering from alcohol abuse isn’t easy.

This was my reply when Mrs C suggested I join her in having a dry January. A few days later she said I wasn't supporting her and me drinking would make it harder for her.

Hence I haven't had a drink since NYE, but that's normal as I seldom drink in the week. I love a drink at weekend though, so tonight will be my first big test. I'm hoping to save a load of cash and lose a few pounds over the month.

Mrs C may buckle first anyway. On finishing work, the first thing she said was "I could murder a drink". So far, she's resisted. Watch this space.

Have had one beer last night. Felt sorry for myself and electric failed in kitchen causing boiler to shut down and therefore no heating or water.
