RE: RIP Jimmy
From a PNE fan, I put my tribute earlier.

Drop the NAPM stuff on here. this thread is about a true great of football and dare i say what your club was all about.

Once again RIP Jim and I will be down tomorrow to place my tribute at his statue.

It's a non-starter so I want to be really adamant about it, because there's no point in letting this debate carry on. We can both agree we don't want to start arguing at this time, so I do suggest that anybody else who wants to break the boycott to not even bother suggesting it because you will get no leeway from us. Let's just agree there isn't going to be a compromise so let's not even go down that route.

Now, can the fans gets together outside the ground and do something? Absolutely.

I had kinda forgotten how involved he was with the team at that time. There was quite a lovely tweet from Ian Evatt saying Jimmy uses to give him advice back in the day. I knew he was attending board meetings and things, but I think I under appreciated how close he was to the players. He was a big part of that special team.

This thread is in reverence and memory of Jimmy Armfield. There are other threads on BHS where talk of NAPM can be read. Can we please leave this thread to just be about Jimmy, our memories and photos?

That's not how I read it. Take the moral high ground if you like but a few on here think things have to always be discussed on their terms.
God bless Jim Armfield. God bless Blackpool FC.

I suspect that the flowers will start filling up once people finish work. Would like to get down myself but can't get out of work.
