It's complicated but it's basically is a means of being able to afford the repayments without wondering into the next category of loans which require a lot more in repayments.

RE: Loan Deal
I thought this thread was going to be about us signing a non league player on loan.

Bad news in the short term if true. Owen seems to want to fight this losing battle.

The quote from Andrew Green QC :

"Mr Oyston is a very rich man and has huge assets. If he is a very rich man he can get a £30m loan, pay my client and fund the football club"

He can't just pluck the money out of holdings . The family would fracture.

He'd make them all homeless and destitute, just to get what he wants.

Wonder if that is why Vicki quit the club earlier this week? Could it be that she knows that Owen will throw the family under a bus just to retain the club?

I,m sure CC will go down every avenue wanting the loan explained. Remember they called their client a money launderer in court. They just will not accept that the court judgement is paid and leave it.

25 million to keep a club losing money , and paying thousands in interest.
Who would be stupid enough to lend that to old rapy?
No wonder the rest are jumping like rats on a sinking ship.

We can but hope so.

However, if it appears to come from a legitimate source, what then is CC's range of what they can do/can ask?
