Dragons Den - would you rescue/invest in BFC?
If you were a Bill Gates with a few billion in your bank account and you wanted to own an EFL club not necessarily to make more money, would you after reading some of the comments on this forum, from allegedly true Blackpool FC fans/supporters, wish to invest?

I don't think that necessarily we will need a Bill Gates or Sir Richard Branson/Elon Musk, in order to wrest the club from Owen.

Something has to give, and if we have to let this season slide I can still see change coming.

I am just waiting for Mooby to spill some beans (not the edible type, he needs them - Vicki says he's a growing boy!)

With respect, Highfield, whilst the town of Blackpool is known for tourism the resort (like many others throughout the country) only comes to life during the summer.

Through the lean months, tourism is lean to say the least.

If Blackpool was a 24/7/365 resort, there could be some merit in the quote about tourism.

Thanks for the civilised debate folks.

If Cuadrilla are successful in achieving the scale of fracking in the Fylde, what tourism is left will be finished and Blackpool will become Frackpool. So maybe Francis Egan is willing to invest!!!!!! ROFLOL.

An investor in an EFL will be looking at its main potential asset - the quality and quantity of its fans and supporters.

Something the dominating vile abusive BHS bully boys need to consider if it is true they like us all love the club and its history.

GSP you have answered your question yourself -
Quote:this unpopular message board

Maybe its unpopular because of a dominant conTROLLing vile abusive minority which brings the club into disrepute and inevitably would influence an investor.

Thats Bulls Eye's opinion anyway!

So, you're saying that an investor would be influenced by a dominant, conTROLLing, vile, abusive minority on a message board that they may not have heard of?

I dissected a bulls eye in science once. It's contents pissed all over the place. Just saying.

Not that me or Magic147 know each other (may have passed each other on the street in Blackpool at some point), but I doubt that he has the significant resources needed to run a football club of Blackpool FC's magnitude.
