I was tempted to merge but thought better of it didn't want to lose the opportunity for people to sign

A good petition - very well intended, but do you trust the powers-that-be when it comes to regulation/arbitration etc?

The last thing they would wish to do is break up the 'cosy club' arrangements.

Will still sign though.

Like many initiatives over the last few years, if we don't try we'll never know.

There is that.

The whole system is rotten, and urgently needs a shake up.

If they don't take any notice, we could always extend the NAPM campaign to the whole of English football.

Now THAT would make them sit up and take notice.

Whilst the following is not going to 'pull up any trees', it could make a difference and if it gets reported on in the media it could unsettle certain club owners:

July 2018 - Pre-Season Fans Tournament at Squires Gate/AFC Blackpool involving:

Blackpool Fans, Newcastle United Fans, Charlton Athletic Fans, Coventry City Fans, Morecambe Fans, Oldham Athletic Fans, Swansea City Fans and Leeds United Fans.

Eight team round robin tournament, proceeds to Trinity Hospice (in memory of Sir Jimmy Armfield) and other causes to be decided (NSPCC/Rape Crisis/Age UK/Parkinson's UK etc.)

I am sure this event would get a lot of attention on social media, and who doesn't love a trip to Blackpool in the summer?

Could do the draw thus:

Blackpool Fans v Swansea City Fans (Squires Gate)
Coventry City Fans v Morecambe Fans (AFC Blackpool)
Oldham Athletic Fans v Charlton Athletic Fans (Squires Gate)
Newcastle United Fans v Leeds United Fans (AFC Blackpool)

Winner 1 v Winner 2 (Squires Gate)
Winner 3 v Winner 4 (AFC Blackpool)

Semi-Final Winner 1 v Semi-Final Winner 2 (Squires Gate)

'The FACO Cup - Fans Against Corrupt Owners'.

Haha, my daily laugh at Mr. Tourettes.

Bawly, you are comedy gold. If laughter is the best medicine, your face must be curing the world.

Just signed the petition. Still way short of the 10000 needed for government to take notice.
Everyone on here signed? Has someone informed other fans - Orient, BRFC, Cov, Leeds?
