The graph starts when I was 12 from the days in the sun to those dark days of putting up for reelection. What a rollercoaster ride it has been.

For me it starts just before I was born. I remember that season of re election as it was the first proper season I went with all my mates.
From Sam Ellis taking us up , I thought things would only get better. How wrong I was.

As the saying goes:

'Our greatest glory is not in never failing, but in rising up every time we fail.'

We will rise again once Owen is gone.

For the first eighteen years of my life watching Pool we were a first division club and when we played away you needed to get to the ground early to get in, so many wanted to see us play.
I was very fortunate to have been around in that era.
I would like to think that in the not too distant future fans will have the opportunity to see some great times once again.

True, but I enjoyed those years in the 80s . Yes we were skint , but I watched some great football and saw some great players.

That’s when Football was football.
The defender would try to clear the ball, miss it, and the striker would end up with a face full of mud!
When was the last time you saw someone boot stuck in the middle of boggy mud patch?

We’ll get there Tony. Just one more minor obstacle.
