Who was the guy who popped his ankle celebrating? Just casually leant down and popped it in again!

Tony Finau and he went out last night and shot 68 to lay in 2nd place!

Yeah - madness!

Really enjoyed the coverage last night - so many different stories unfolding.

I agree lots of stories about to be written over the next 3 glorious days of golf. Speith looks imperious and if not for the bogey at 18 he would be odds on already. At 2/1 he's worth a largish punt but I would advise any one thinking of steaming in of what happened at the 12th in 2016.

Dustin Johnson played like Duffer Johnson at times last evening, unlucky on a couple of late putts though, but as World No1 he may have something for us to marvel at tonight. His opening price of 12/1 is now 33s and big bearded Duncan has been known to utterly overpower a course when the mood takes him. A 66 tonight gets him back in.

Garcia reminded me of John Daly when he took 18 at a watery hole in Florida years ago. He just wouldn't give up, arrogantly or stupidly, on the shot he wanted to play. It cost the Spaniard his Green Jacket.

Anyway batten down the hatches, there's a storm of a golfing kind coming. Should be well worth a watch.

Looks like someone's enjoying the golf ....

Jack Nicklaus
‏@jacknicklaus

With all due respect to @themasters, allow me to put my 6 Green Jackets in the closet for a moment and say that I don’t know if I have had a more special day on a golf course. To have your grandson make his first hole-in-one on this stage.... WOW!

The Par 3 contest was cracking, Nicklaus' grandson hitting that hole in one, then Tony Finau dislocating his ankle celebrating another only to pop it back in and hit 4 under on his 1st round the next day.
