What a tragic story this is. Keep thinking if it was my Son. You would never give up hope would you.

Sometimes you have to let go. We’re he my son, I honestly can’t say and I don’t think anyone can until they are in that situation.
Are the parents refusing to give up for themselves or for Alfie?
But if all the specialists are saying the same thing , while the parents are clinging to every hope they have. You have to ask what is best for Alfie.

Being a parent is just constant worry.
I can not imagine how acute the grief is those parents are suffering! I seem to have a stance of “I don’t want to know” when it comes to child illness, not because I’m not arsed but because I can almost feel the gut wrenching feeling every time I hear of a story!

As parents, if we could, we would take every little bit of pain and suffering so the don’t have to!

It’s heartbreakingly sad.

I am the same. Call it soft but I tend to avoid child or animal suffering stories as I just don't want to feel sad. I just thought I would raise this one due to the publicity. I don't think any party is actually right or wrong; it's just a sad situation that unfortunately cannot be resolved through the legal system. Only a miracle would help.
