Eclipse has just been games. They were the first just doing games. I bought and swapped megadrive games there. Twenty five+ years ago

There was a Blockbusters up on that housing estate off Heyhouses lane which would attract the most colourful of characters.

That was back in late 90s, not sure what it sold after that. Gemini video used to have arcade machines in the back, spent most of my summer holidays playing Shinobi, Bubble Bobble and World Cup 90.

What was the video shop in Ansdell called? It was on Woodlands Road - I seem to remember it was Videodrome. Anyway, that one.

Used to live in flat over the road from that. My flatmate and I would go sit in the shop watching films and getting drunk with the guy that ran it.

Knew somebody in Dominos a couple of doors up who could supply pizza as well.
