Bunney signs
Yup Joe Bunney has joined us.

Left sided player Joe Bunney has joined Blackpool on a season long loan deal.

Bunney joined Northampton Town in January but lost his place in the side in the closing weeks of last season and manager Dean Austin said this move was in the best interests of all parties.

"Joe wasn't playing in the side at the end of last season," he said.

"He has been offered this opportunity to go and play at Blackpool and he has handled things the right way.

"He said to us that he would like to take this opportunity and we felt it was a good move for us both at this time.

"He moves with our thanks and best wishes for a good season with Blackpool and we will monitor his progress."

So cannot get into a relagated Northampton's team.....says it all eally

Sounds good:

"Unlucky lads probably the worst LB I’ve ever seen at Northampton. 6’4 and dreadful at defending set pieces. Always try’s to play the ball inside when runners are on the wing. I have to say thanks for having him"

I don't think it gets any worse than signing a Northampton second string player. Bowyer must be resigned to relegation.

This joke of a club keep giving.
What does that say about future ambitions when we’re loaning players from Northampton?
