Quote:Going

3 points very much needed as we need to keep our run going.

Blackpool 1-2 Posh - Tomlin & Gayle

Quote:Cannot go ....On that awful pitch would take a draw now......We are capable of winning but any points would be useful

Quote:Not going. Even if I could I probably wouldnt. Who wants to watch football on their shitty pitch?

Win 2-1

Barnett in the last minute.

Quote:It's a must win. We'll muller em.

Quote:Me going, tickets in hand, leave at 8.00 a.m.

Blackpool....2..................v Posh.....2(Tomlin,Gayle)

569 Poshies

Hope it is not too cold otherwise the sea paddling is out.

Quote:Going into this game, I have realised from Mercutio's signature, that of the last 16 games we have lost only 4.

That's pretty good going.

Quote:Going 0-3 Tomlin hatrick.

A confident bunch. Shame really they'll be leaving empty handed. Wonder if they'll replace their posh bowler hats with kiss me quick hats?

Says them? They can only afford seats in two stands! One of them is a shed! Embarrassing when Peterborough fans are taking the piss. They have No Boyd and No Chance! Futacs, Ince and Ludo to score for us!

RE: Peterborough view
Fergie Junior on the Pool pitch:

Quote:Peterborough United manager Darren Ferguson won’t completely sacrifice his footballing principles to counter the ‘appalling’ playing surface at Blackpool’s Bloomfield Road stadium tomorrow (March 16).

But Ferguson will warn his players of the pitfall of playing a passing game in the wrong areas of the pitch.

The Bloomfield Road surface has drawn widespread criticism throughout the Championship this season with many teams suggesting a passing game in near-impossible because of the heavy, uneven nature of the pitch. ‘A ploughed field’ is how locals describe it.

“The surface is appalling,” Ferguson insisted. “So it has to come into my thinking when I pick the team and when I deceide how we should approach the game.

“I don’t want us to stop passing the ball, but there are certain areas of the pitch that won’t allow it. That’s what I will drum into the players.

“Blackpool won’t like the surface either. (Manager) Paul Ince will want his team to play football as well so it could well become a real slog, a real fight, but we have shown in the last couple of matches that we are capable of doing well in games like that.

“Blackpool have kept successive clean sheets at home and they had a great win at Watford last weekend, but we are in pretty good form as well and we are determined to go into the international break on a high.”
